Your hostess has set up shop in a brand new studio and is ready to go to work pounding out "interactive" stories for those who may care to read them--ready if the movers have arrived with the office furniture and PC. But armed with her ever-present and trusty laptop, it is possible that Wros has already begun drafting out the many ideas churning in her head. At last check she was honing ideas in her writing journal which sometimes doubles as her personal diary depending on her mood. |

Wros's new cyber studio sits in the heart of Fortune City's . The space is in a highrise (not too high, vertigo you know) designed for and suited to the type of job that dictates long hours--it's not an office, but not quite an apartment either. There is a small kitchen and bath on the short end of the "L" that inscribes the studio. Along the outer walls of the long arm are a few floor-to-ceiling windows and a few smaller windows with upholstered window seats. At present, vertical blinds and white roll-up shades are the only window treatments. The previous tenant left behind only an old map on a rickety veneered end table missing a leg. The floors are dusty and in need of attention. Parquet. Once quite beautiful and may be again. Wros is feeling slightly daunted by her new task, but I think she will thrive under the pressures inherent in taking on such new responsibilities. Who am I? You can call me "Cal." I sort of look out for Wros. I'm the one who got her the space here in Fortune City after seeing her work elsewhere. This job won't be easy, but I know she can do it. She is spirited and creative and she loves to write. Also has a good idea writing stories people can interact with. She primarily writes for kids and young adults, but can also turn out a good mystery or suspense story for us older folks. Here in cyberspace, anything is possible. Let's watch as Wros settles into her new space and begins to invent new characters and stories. You never know. . .Wros may find herself in trouble deep enough to rival that which she orchestrates for her characters. |
